Decided to stay for my daughter’s 14th birthday. We have travelled a lot and would have to say we were quite disappointed with our stay. Outside noise was so loud even with earplugs and 19th floor room. Showers dangerous to work out, air conditioning hot even at 15degrees (according to dial) main reason we stayed there was because of previous breakfasts we have had at Sofitel. My daughter has an eating disorder and will only eat a handful of different foods. Quality of some foods was not great so she ended up eating watermelon

This was extremely disappointing. Shower over bath, old and dated. No pods for coffee machine. I had to ask for a pen and paper. Room was musty. Very overpriced for the room and standards were well below other similar hotels in Brisbane

I prechecked in and prepaid as I arrived at midnight. Sofitel says this will make check in faster. I was made to wait for 15 mins at the reception desk even though there were no other visitors to check in. The staff saw me but ignored me. The check in process took 30 minutes as the staff seemed confused about both the pre-check in and prepayment. The housekeeping was average but amenities not replaced. The front of hotel staff at the driveway were only there on occasion to provide assistance with transport.
